The Astro Orbiters ride is a 2 minute Merry-Go-Round style ride,
in which the guest sits in a small rocket, which resembles more
of a Flash Gordon / Buck Rogers style ship than a modern space
vehicle.
The ride gently lifts off the ground as it circles, providing
a reasonably good high level view of Tomorrowland.
The ride is located directly above the load area for the Tomorrowland
Transit Authority, and is accessed via an elevator at the side
of the Transit Authority escalators. As such due to its height,
and the fact that it's access point isn't immediately obvious,
the Astro Orbiters doesn't tend to get anything like the number
of guests riding it as similar rides like Dumbo or The Magic Carpets
of Aladdin.
