[Disney Vacation Planner]

At A Glance The 471 seat Bongos is part of the chain created by Gloria Estefan and her husband / producer Emilio Estefan.

Bongos Cuban Cafe is part of the chain created by Gloria Estefan and her husband / producer Emilio Estefan.

The 471 seat cafe serves lunch and dinner featuring the tastes of Cuba and the Miami Beach area of Florida set amid the best Latin American musical rhythms, and is generally open from 11:00 AM until 02:00 AM, and has an express window that operates during the same hours.

With a 16,000-square-foot space, two floors of indoor and out-door dining areas, and three separate bars, BONGOS CUBAN CAFE is designed to stimulate the visual and aural senses of its patrons as well as their palates.

The buildings triangular architectural design, by the renowned Bernardo Fort Brescia of Arquitectonica is dominated outside by a massive two-story pineapple-shaped structure that dominates the lakeside skyline of Downtown Disney.

Once inside, a dazzling mosaic of hand-painted murals evokes Old World Cuba of the 1940's and 50's. No detail was overlooked by well-known interior designer Luciano Franchi, from the misty waterfall with its refreshing taste of the Caribbean, to the bongo drum shaped bar stools, each a miniature work-of-art with one-of-a-kind hand-inlaid tile work. This high-spirited environment comes alive to the nightly red-hot rhythms of Latin dance music.
