The Unlimited Magic / Length of Stay Pass
Potentially the most flexible ticket option aside of the Annual
Pass is the Unlimited Magic Pass (formerly the Length of Stay
Pass). This is only available to Disney resort hotel guests, and
is priced depending on the number of days required, but it provides
unrestricted access to all of the Disney major and minor parks
for the duration of your stay on WDW property, thus it's very
similar to the 5-day world hopper pass, without the restriction
on the minor park access.
One big difference though is the unlimited magic pass is only
valid for the duration of your stay on Disney property. If you
were to buy a 10-day unlimited magic pass, but only used three
days of it during your holiday, the remaining seven days access
would be lost, and can't be carried over to a following year's
holiday.
If you're considering an unlimited magic pass, and don't intend
to spend at least part of every day in one of the Disney parks,
make sure that you check out all the alternative deals, particularly
now the 7-day park hopper plus is available. Unlimited magic
passes run from the very first day you arrive at a Disney resort,
until the day you leave. Generally you may well find you're
too tired to want to visit the parks on the first day of your
vacation, and too busy to visit on the last day, so you may end
up effectively loosing a couple of days on the unlimited magic
pass, which could make it a slightly more expensive alternative
than buying All in one passes, or even 4-day hopper passes.
